CARAMEL APPLE PIE PROTEIN OATMEAL

Warm Caramel. Baked Apples. Cinnamon and Spices. When I was making this oatmeal, my house smelled so good. Who needs candles when you’re baking a caramel apple pie oatmeal in your oven? Ha ha!

CARAMEL APPLE PIE PROTEIN OATMEAL {lean version}
Servings: 1
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Bake Time: 35 minutes
Bake Temp: 350 degrees

Ingredients
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup egg whites
1/4 tsp apple pie spice or cinnamon
1/4 cup Fage 0% Total plain Greek yogurt
1/4 cup apples {chopped}
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 TBS Walden Farms Caramel Dip
2 TBS Torani sugar-free Caramel Syrup
1 Stevia Packet
1 cup water

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium oven safe bowl, mix all of your ingredients till blended well. Bake in oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Pull out of oven when done and stir. It’ll seem watery at first. After you stir it, let it sit for 15 minutes. This will let it set up and thicken, as well as cool off. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!

I find with this oatmeal, the cooler it is, the more flavorful it becomes. Let it cool completely to enjoy the wonderful flavors of this dish.
