Servings: 6

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 green onion, chopped

1 jalapeno pepper, minced

3 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

½ lime, squeezed

1 ½ Tbsp. tequila

½ orange, squeezed

1 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cumin

½ tsp chili powder

Combine first 10 ingredients in a shallow dish or large plastic zip-top freezer bag. Cut pork diagonally into 1” thick slices. Add tequila mixture. Cover or seal. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, turning occasionally.

Remove pork from marinade, discarding marinade.

Grill covered with grill lid, over high heat (if using charcoal grill, coals will be white when heat is high), for 3-4 minutes on each side or until done. Turn meat about 3-4 times while grilling.
